Visva-Bharati letter head
2 January 1924
Dear Professor,
During my long absence the burden of unanswered letters and unperformed duties has accumulated to an alarming dimension obstructing my freedom of rest and work.
We have in mind the place of modification in our temple and tank and are waiting for some funds to carry it out. The planting of trees is going on though the lack of sufficient water is making our task difficult. A great part of the dining room has been changed and I hope a better time will come to us when we shall be able to dispose with it altogether.
Ever yours
Rabindranath Tagore
